SAKE3 Membership
As the first initiative, SAKE3 is partnering with Tanabe Shuzo in Fukui Prefecture, which will celebrate its 125th anniversary in 2024, to launch a new brand. SAKE3 is recruiting members for its Membership NFT, who will have the opportunity to participate in brand concept and taste decision-making.

TANABE Brewery
Since its establishment in 1899 (Meiji 32), Tanabe Shuzo has continued to honor tradition while embracing new challenges. In partnership with SAKE3, they are launching their first SAKE3 brewery membership. Tanabe Shuzo preserves the painstaking art of sake brewing, using traditional methods with old-fashioned Japanese kettles to steam the rice and pressing all of it in a vat. They use locally sourced rice from Fukui Prefecture and ultra-soft water for brewing. Additionally, they adhere to the cold brewing process starting in mid-November, emphasizing natural and meticulous sake production techniques.

In Fukui, where Tanabe Shuzo is located, the Hokuriku Shinkansen is scheduled to open in March 2024.
